If there was ever a perfect week to come to Tuesday Market, this week just might be it! Our farmers will be bringing the greatest variety of fruits and vegetables of the season. You can certainly do all of your produce shopping at the market! Round out your shopping with many kinds of cheeses, honey, maple, bread, jam, eggs, many types of meats and so much more. Don’t forget, you can always grab a free bag from our Bag Share at the market tent!
Read on for more details about a can’t-miss Tuesday Market- It will be a day full of fresh food, good music, old friends and vibrant beauty! Tell a friend or coworker, share the magic!
Rachel Leader will be playing tunes on her fiddle throughout the afternoon. Rachel played alongside Eli Catlin last week and rumor is that Eli will join her this week! Last week’s music was beautiful and we’re looking forward to an encore!
Pumpkins! This week we welcome a special guest vendor- Wiley James, the youngest farmer at Town Farm will be making a brief appearance to sell his pumpkins, and also handmade potholders! Wiley will arrive when he gets out of school, about 2:30pm.
Wiley will be donating a third of his sales to Caiman House, a field research station in the village of Yupukari, in the Rupununi region of Guyana, where he visited earlier this year. The organization helps support the village public library, wildlife and environmental conservation, and cultural preservation projects.
Not many people have been part of Tuesday Market for as long as Wiley! Check out this classic photo from the early days of the market…
