Climate Adaptive Gardening Series: Mill River Floods, Past & Present

On the 150th Anniversary of the Mill River Flood of 1874, join our panel of local leaders for a presentation on the history and current state of Mill River floods and the relationship of flooding with the Grow Food Northampton Community Garden. Panelists include:

John Sinton, local Mill River historian and co-founder of the Mill River Greenway Initiative;

Gaby Immerman, Smith College Botany professor and co-founder of the Mill River Greenway Initiative;

Piyush Labhsetwar, Grow Food Northampton Farm and Land Stewardship Manager;

Efad Huq, Smith College Assistant Professor of Environmental Science and Policy.
