We’re celebrating Earth Day on Sunday, April 26 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. by hosting a tree walk and a trash clean up on the Grow Food Northampton Community Farm! This is a great time of year to come back to the land, spruce things up, and get excited for the growing season. 

GFN Board member and Smith College biology professor, Gaby Immerman, will lead us on a guided tree walk to get to know the trees of the Community Farm through their unfurling buds, and learn to observe trees in different stages of development. 

GFN will provide light refreshments and supplies for the clean-up, including gloves and bags.
