GFN Community Farm Visioning Session- Virtual on Zoom

We have some exciting ideas in the works to make the Community Farm an even more engaging place of learning, community, and growing food. We see these as genuine community projects that need community ideas and energy to make happen!
We’re hosting two meetings to share our vision and invite your ideas and involvement. Please join us!
In-person:

On zoom:
Thursday, December 12th 6:00pm.

A sneak peek at what we’re exploring:
- A Community Orchard: A space dedicated to fruit trees and berries for a community u-pick, education, and to provide fruit for our food distribution program.
- Living History Garden: Combining the Lydia Maria Child plot and Seed Sovereignty gardens into a new ‘Living History’ garden, with both historical and modern crops from various diasporas. This interactive garden could educate visitors about agriculture’s past and present, local significance, and global connections.
