Join Paul Lagrèze of New England Wild Edibles for a hands-on workshop on mushroom cultivation, specifically designed for educators! Teachers will learn 3 different methods of growing mushrooms that can happen in the classroom and/or school garden: inoculating logs, growing on wood chips, and growing in bags. This workshop will also offer resources for teachers of all gardening experience levels, and suggestions for curricula to teach about fungi and its crucial role in our ecosystems.

This workshop is a collaboration between Grow Food Northampton and Mass Farm to School! It is free to attend for educators, and a small number of spots may become available to non-educators on a sliding scale.
