Stories of Seed Sovereignty Garden: Garden Opening + Community Meal

Join us for a special Garden Opening and Community Meal in honor of the Stories of Seed Sovereignty Garden. This “living exhibit” highlights crops with deep histories of seed saving as vital to food sovereignty. These seeds have survived through enslavement, forced displacement, U.S. imperialism, war, and genocide. Join us to explore these crops, listen to our community’s voices, and reflect on seed saving as an act of resistance and self-determination.
