FOOD for your BODY and SOUL at Tuesday Market on 6/14!
Hi Tuesday Market Friends-
We hope you can make a visit to market this week, the stars have aligned for an amazing afternoon! We have the perfect timing of summer vegetables making their way in from the fields, strawberries in abundance, all of your favorite market vendors and world class musicians performing from 4-5:30!
The Django in June All Stars will be making a stop on their Gypsy Jazz Week tour. Catch this chance to see Jazz musicians from all around the world jamming at the farmers’ market! This visit is part of their week-long workshop and culminating concerts. We’re grateful for this opportunity and thankful to our pizza vendor Armando Verea from Laughing Tomato for the connection!
Taproot Threads will be making the first of 4 visits to the market tomorrow. Stop by to see the latest and favorite designs. Treat yourself or someone you love!
Red Fire Farm will be doing a cooking demo this week featuring Hakurei Turnips and Strawberries. They’ll also be spreading the word about their Strawberry Soiree, happening this coming Saturday, 6/18.
There’s still time to grab some plants. Bare Roots Farm, Crabapple Farm, Red Fire Farm and Wild Rose Farm will all have great choices.
While you’re browsing, stop by the purple market tent to grab one of our new Customer Loyalty Cards! Get your card stamped at the market tent each week. After 6 stamps, enter to win a Monthly Drawing! The first drawing will be in July and the prize will be something special from the market. If you’ve already been to market this season, we’d love to give you an extra stamp this week when you grab your card!
Help us to spread the word about the SNAP and Save Program which is allowing us to match $10 in SNAP money each week. That means that SNAP customers get $20 for their $10 withdrawal of SNAP benefits each week at the market (Thank you CISA and Healthy Hampshire!). SNAP tokens can be used for anything SNAP eligible, including meat, fruits, vegetables, honey, maple, cheese, bread, granola and plant starts. Stop by the purple market tent to learn more.
