How to Shop Tuesday Market While Social Distancing
Tuesday Market will open in a limited way on May 12. Only fresh fruits and vegetables, honey, maple syrup and eggs are permitted to be sold until restrictions by the City of Northampton are lifted.
Our local farmers have been working hard to quickly adapt to the new conditions, implementing safety measures and creating new and innovative ways to get their food to you. Read on to see how our vendors are responding plus even more ways to access local food below.
Until we meet again in the plaza between Thornes and the parking garage, perhaps you can put on some Eli Catlin and virtually shop Tuesday Market. Order some things online, make a plan to visit a farm store or farm stand, email farmers for a special order… Whatever you can do to support our farmers right now will help them tremendously and also nourish you and your family in surreal times.
** UPDATED on May 11, 2020— We will update and add to this list as plans evolve, Check back!
