Last Day of Spring- Feeling like Summer! June 20, 2017

Summer officially arrives on Wednesday, enjoy the last hours of Spring at Tuesday Market!
This will be the last week for Bare Roots Farm and their beautiful selection of plants. Stop by to make your last-minute plant decisions! As you stroll the market, you’ll find an ever-increasing range of vegetables- all that you’d expect and more!
If you find your hands getting full, remember we always have plenty of bags at the Bag Share in the market tent. Also at the market tent, you can grab a Loyalty Card and get it stamped- After 6 stamps, enter to win our monthly drawing!
As always, you have a few ways to cool off at Tuesday Market- munch on a carrot or cucumber, sip some iced tea from Beets and Barley or Sweet Birch Herbals, enjoy a cool salad from Old Friends Farm or the classic choice- a popsicle from Crooked Stick Pops! All that and plenty of shade to relax in.
As summer heats up, Rose Day Cream is an excellent lotion to lather on after exposing your skin to the sunshine. It’s all natural blend of calendula oil, aloe vera gel, rose water, coconut oil and beeswax make this a cooling, soothing, and toning cream for face and body. It absorbs quickly without leaving an oily layer and is great for sunburns!
Find Rose Day Cream at Sweet Birch Herbals each week.
Tuesday Market accepts SNAP benefits and will be matching SNAP purchases up to $10 while we wait for vendors to have the ability to accept the new HIP benefit at the market.
HIP is a three-year program which will match SNAP recipients’ purchases of local fruits and vegetables at participating farmers’ markets, mobile markets, farms stands, and CSAs. The HIP benefit will provide $40-$80 per month to SNAP users, depending on household size. Customers can learn more about this exciting new local food benefit by stopping by the purple market tent at Tuesday Market or by clicking HERE
