Open House & Office Warming Party

On December 7th, over 70 people gathered in our office to help us celebrate our new space in the Arts & Industry Building in Florence. The building is just across the Mill River from our Community Garden and Farm. Gardeners, program participants, Board members, former staff members, farmers, teachers, and many of our new neighbors joined our staff to eat delicious food, drink, listen to music, and mingle.
Having a larger space where we can host events like this is very exciting! We enjoyed having so many people involved with our organization together in one spot, and it truly made our new space feel like home. Many of our new neighbors from the Arts & Industry Building stopped in to say hello and learn about our organization.

We are grateful to the businesses and individuals that donated and volunteered to help make our event a success. Thank you to Provisions, Florence Pie Bar, Brewmaster Jack, Abandoned Building Brewery, Tart, Bread Euphoria, and River Valley Co-op for their donations of food and drink. Regular Tuesday Market musician Eric Lee donated his time to entertain us with his gorgeous music. And thank you to Sachio Cook, who volunteered to take photographs of the event!
