Contact Diana
Diana is a Salvadoran-born marketing, communications, and development professional passionate about community-centered storytelling, food justice, and relationship-building through mission-driven work. With experience across local nonprofit organizations in the Pioneer Valley, Diana brings a collaborative approach to fundraising communications, donor engagement, event planning, and community outreach.
Before joining Grow Food Northampton, Diana served as Marketing and Communications Director at Hampshire Regional YMCA, where she partnered closely on fundraising strategy, donor stewardship, annual campaigns, and signature events. Diana’s background also includes community advocacy and direct service work at Way Finders, where she supported individuals and families navigating housing instability and access to critical resources.
Born and raised in El Salvador, Diana’s connection to food is deeply rooted in culture, family, and belonging. She believes food is not only nourishment, but also identity, tradition, and community.
In her free time, Diana enjoys going for long walks with her husband, spending cozy time at home with their two kittens, and slowly learning Italian.
