Food Access Assistant (she/her)

Ruth von Goeler joined our team as Food Access Assistant in the summer of 2022. A volunteer for the Community Food Distribution Project since early 2021, Ruth loves the community connections developed by delivering local foods to those who enjoy them. Ruth comes to Grow Food Northampton with over 10 years of experience in sustainability,  primarily in sustainable building. An environmental activist, she has long been involved in the local food movement and  served on the Northampton Farmers Market Committee.  She loves to spend time her garden growing vegetables and fruits, or foraging wild mushrooms in the local forests.
