Produce, Plants, Puppets, Pizza and Plenty More-Tuesday Market 3/17

Hello Tuesday Market People! Tomorrow is looking to be another gorgeous, abundant day at the market! This is an exciting time with so many new crops making their way to market. It’s a great week to plan to pick up a flat or two of plants for your garden!

This week young and old will be entertained by The Scotty and Irk Show, with a self contained family friendly Magic show with puppet co-host! There will be a few runs of Scotty’s show, beginning at 3:30.

Red Fire Farm is having a special sale on shallots this week only! $2 off one pound of shallots. Check them out with that and much more in the center of the market.

Grabbing a late snack or early dinner? Laughing Tomato‘s specialty pizza will be The Yukon Gold Rush (extra virgin olive oil with roasted garlic spread, Yukon Gold potatoes, bacon, kalamata olives, smoked mozzarella and a touch of fresh rosemary). Get in the mood with this video filmed last year at Tuesday Market.

Help us to spread the word about the SNAP and Save Program which is allowing us to match $10 in SNAP money each week. That means that SNAP customers get $20 for their $10 withdrawal of SNAP benefits each week at the market (Thanks you CISA and Healthy Hampshire!). SNAP tokens can be used for anything SNAP eligible, including meat, fruits, vegetables, honey, maple, cheese, bread, granola and plant starts.  Stop by the purple market tent to learn more.
