Treats, no tricks. It’s Halloween at Tuesday Market!

Thanks to everyone who came out to last week’s rainy Tuesday Market! It wasn’t a terribly slow day despite the weather and we did manage to entertain ourselves at the market tent with a little impromptu music.

As you loyal market-goers know, November 7th was to be our last market. Surprise! We have decided to extend the season by one more week! The last Tuesday Market is a BONUS market on November 14th!

We decided to extend the season because the Winter Market doesn’t start until November 25th and we thought that was too long of a gap! We will have your Thanksgiving needs covered. You can also get a jump on holiday shopping! Products from the farmers’ market make great gifts! Look forward to some great gift ideas in upcoming newsletters!

How exciting to have Halloween fall on a Tuesday this year! We’re excited to be part of the Downtown Northampton Association’s Trick or Treat fun! We can’t wait to see kids coming through in costume and several of our vendors will be giving out treats. Look for the orange signs!
Apex Orchards will be giving out apples to trick-or-treaters! They’ll also have several varieties of heirloom apples (Northern Spy, Spitzenburg, Hudson Golden Gem, Golden Russet) as well as Asian pears!
With only a few markets left this season, it’s time to stock up on ghee! Full Moon Ghee has bulk sizes available per request and will bring a few this Tuesday. Ghee is shelf stable and lasts about a year so buying in bulk is the way to go if you’re a ghee lover!
We have quite a collection of Lost and Found items at the market tent, including LOTS of water bottles. If you think you may have forgotten something at the market, stop by to check this week and next. On November 7th we will offer all of the items for free to anyone who’s interested in them and after that everything will be donated.
All these folks will be at Tuesday Market on 10/31:

Botanica
Beets and Barley
Old Friends Farm*
Leyden Glen Lamb
Sweet Birch Herbals
Cricket Creek Farm
Red Fire Farm*
Revival Homestead Supply
Laughing Tomato Pizza
