Grow Food Northampton is hosting monthly farmers markets at the Northampton Senior Center this winter,…
Hi Tuesday Market Friends-
Here’s a great picture from last week’s market to get you in the mood…
(photo by True North Granola- they’ll be back with us on the 23rd)
Joining all your faves this week will be Crooked Stick Pops, Botanica Blends, Beaumont’s Berries and Taproot Threads.
Enjoy the sounds of Katherine First and Kitchen Party from 4-6pm. They play upbeat string music from Ireland, Scotland, Canada, Brittany and Appalachia with fiddle, guitar, banjo, percussion and vocals.
The photo above is by Candace Morgan Hope and part of a beautiful series featuring Wild Rose Farm. Have a look at Danielle at work in the fields and making bouquets at Tuesday Market. The photos are a feast for the eyes, second only to a visit to Danielle’s booth each week to buy a treat for yourself or a loved one!
Help us to spread the word about the SNAP and Save Program which is allowing us to match $10 in SNAP money each week. That means that SNAP customers get $20 for a $10 withdrawal of SNAP benefits each week at the market (Thank you CISA and Healthy Hampshire!). SNAP tokens can be used for anything SNAP eligible, including meat, fruits, vegetables, honey, maple, cheese, bread, granola and plant starts. Stop by the purple market tent to learn more.
