Grow Food Northampton is hosting monthly farmers markets at the Northampton Senior Center this winter,…
Hi Tuesday Market Friends-
We’re enjoying some much overdue rain right now, and looking forward to a sunny and summery Tuesday for tomorrow’s market day. Late summer and fall produce will be abundant. Do all of your grocery shopping in one stop! For recipe inspiration, ask the vendor you’re buying from, or stop by the purple market tent.
A rainbow harvest from Red Fire Farm.
This week Paul Sticca of The Chickenyard will be performing cover and original Americana tunes.
Dahlias are still stealing the show at Wild Rose Farm. Keep an eye on what Danielle puts together for arrangements in the coming weeks, as the options change and creativity is key. You’re guaranteed a beautiful sight!
We still have a bunch of temporary tattoos at the purple market tent. Grab one this week!
Help us to spread the word about the SNAP and Save Program which is allowing us to match $10 in SNAP money each week. That means that SNAP customers get $20 for their $10 withdrawal of SNAP benefits each week at the market (Thanks you CISA and Healthy Hampshire!). SNAP tokens can be used for anything SNAP eligible, including meat, fruits, vegetables, honey, maple, cheese, bread, granola and plant starts. Stop by the purple market tent to learn more and buy tokens.
