Cooler, dry air makes great conditions for cooking up a nice farmers’ market meal. Find inspiration among the onions, tomatoes, garlic, greens, mushrooms, hot peppers, eggplants…..
and so much more!
Bring the kids by the market tent to try out our new Tuesday Market Scavenger Hunt! We’re so excited about this fun, Tuesday Market-specific hunt. Thanks to our friends at Seth Gregory Design for creating this fun market activity!
The Tuesday Market Summer Chef Series kicks off next week on August 22, 2017. Each week for 6 weeks market-goers can enjoy a cooking demonstration using ingredients from around the farmers’ market, prepared by a talented and well-known lineup of local chefs. The demonstrations will be at 5pm each week. Many of our guest chefs are cookbook authors. Their books will be available for sale at the market tent and the chefs will be available to sign books after the demo.
Our first guest chef will be Mary Reilly, publisher of Edible Pioneer Valley and executive chef of dining services at Westfield State College. Mary will be sharing a recipe for panzanella!
Watch the newsletter and our social media each week as the series continues through September.
