Tuesday Market–July 25–Newsletter
One of the best things about a farmers’ market is the excitement when long-awaited crops are harvested and make their first appearance at the market. The wait makes them that much more delicious. Last week we debuted chanterelle mushrooms, corn, cucamelons and PEACHES!
Peach excitement will be palpable this year after the loss of last years crop due to the buds dying in a winter cold snap. After two years, it’s time to savor the peaches! The recipe section of our website has several ideas to help you enjoy peach season-
Peach Salsa and Quick Peach Slaw/Garnish to accompany your main dish and Peach and Basil Pie with Crumb Top or Peach Compote for dessert.
If you make one of our recipes, we’d love to hear about it. Share your Tuesday Market cooking with us on social media!
