Tuesday Market- November 7- The penultimate market of 2017!

It’s the second-to-last Tuesday Market of the year! It’s looking like it will be a beautiful, seasonal day. If you come later in the day, you’ll see us lit up with string lights, as it will be getting dark around 4pm. Market favorite, Eli Catlin will be playing lovely music throughout the afternoon.

Next week is the final Tuesday Market of the season, our “bonus” market! Come out to support our hard-working farmers and to stock up for Thanksgiving and the early winter. Tell a friend, share our Facebook event and come out to bid farewell to a wonderful season of farmers markets.

With the holidays right around the corner, consider getting your shopping started early at Tuesday Market! What could feel better than buying something useful for someone you love, and helping to support our local small farms and businesses at the same time? You’ll thank yourself for getting a jump-start come mid-December, too!

There are so many things around the market that make great gifts: pottery from Kristin at Leyden Glen, fragrances from Botanica, turmeric products (or just turmeric root) from Old Friends Farm, body products and fun DIY kits from Revival Homestead Supply, yarn from Crabapple Farm, syrups, teas and more from Sweet Birch Herbals, tinctures from Sawmill Herb Farm, succulent gardens from Wild Rose, soaps from Sage Meadow Farm and more!

Gift baskets! Here’s a gift basket that we put together for a raffle winner last fall. It includes a jar of jam from Beaumont’s Berries, honey from Red Barn, 3 small ears of popcorn, 3 bulbs of garlic and a rosemary plant, all packaged up in a Tuesday Market Bag Share bag! All this cost $20 and would make a lovely gift for a teacher, coworker, friend or loved one.
We continue to match up to $5 of SNAP purchases made at Tuesday Market each week as well as educating and supporting customers in using HIP (Healthy Incentives Program) with our six vendors who accept it. HIP is for fruits and vegetables only so our SNAP matching enables people on limited incomes to be able to afford other foods like eggs, cheese, meat, maple, honey and bread.
This week our SNAP Match is sponsored by Show Circus Studio! Thank you Show for helping to lower the barrier to fresh food from the farmers market, for people on every budget!

All these folks will be at Tuesday Market on 11/7:
